2017 Galaxy of Stars® Talent Search Overall Vocalist Winners “The Ehrkes,” Jared, David, Andrea & Jenna were awarded a Nashville Recording Package presented by Vision Productions, Inc. and Benchmark Productions in Nashville, which was used to record the popular song, “Hallelujah Christmas.”
The song was arranged and produced by Mark Allen & Wynne Adams and recorded and mixed by Mark Allen of Benchmark Productions in Nashville. “Hallelujah Christmas” is the first song on their Christmas album released on December 4, 2018. Instrumental tracks on all other songs on the album were performed by Matthew Davis and engineered and mixed by Nick Davis at his studio in Tennessee, long time family friends and Galaxy of Stars® Entertainers. |
It was exciting to meet with Galaxy of Stars Entertainer Chelsea Arnold in Branson, Missouri on my way back from Nebraska to Nashville! Chelsea is the new lead singer for the Glenn Miller Orchestra and a member of the new Ray Coniff Singers who recently recorded a new Christmas song entitled, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas (Tho’ Just In Memory).
Chelsea performed on the Yakoff Smirnoff Show and we also enjoyed attending the Andy Williams Ozark Mountain Christmas Show presented by Jimmy Osmond starring the Lennon Sisters. A special thank you to Chelsea and to her grandparents for showing me around Branson and making me feel so welcome!
In January Chelsea will be in Nashville to record new music with my production team. ~ Wynne

This song is my effort to support the men and women that served and still serve today. I know firsthand the sacrifices that are made. They had my back, and though I am no longer in the service, I want them to know that I’ve got theirs. Armed with a guitar and a microphone, I will do all that I can to ensure that their sacrifices are never forgotten.
I hope the song will remind people that our nation’s flag is a symbol, not only of a great and free nation, but also of all those who have given much … and of all those who, whenever needed throughout our nation, are the first to answer the call.

With a saddened heart, I along with each of our Galaxy of Stars team express our heartfelt sympathy as we lose one of our Galaxy of Stars family, Ron Grimes from Central City.
I met Ron over 14 years ago when he entered a local Galaxy of Stars Talent Search in Grand Island. I remember his sparkling eyes and big smile as he handed me his entry form! When he got on stage, we all could see he felt right at home! He loved to sing and entertain. Almost every year he came back to a local talent show to compete and competed several years at the Nebraska State Fair. Ron was also invited to be a part of the Galaxy of Stars Spectacular Show performing with our entertainers at county fairs. He added a special touch to the show with his upbeat personality and entertaining style as he sang “My Way,” “New York, New York,” "For The Good Times" and many other classic crowd favorites. I always knew when the season for Galaxy kicked off because he would be the first |
to send me his entries, which would come in a box and were on VHS tapes along with his Songwriting entries on a cassette tape. He was excited when some of his songs placed Top Fifteen in the Songwriting Contests. Ron was a true inspiration to me and to so many that he met. Performing was his passion. While he was able, he never stopped doing what he loved!
I think back to 2012 when I went to my mailbox and saw a package from Ron. I thought it might be another song he was entering in the songwriting contest, as he kept writing new music that he was excited to share. When I opened the package and read his heartfelt note, tears came to my eyes. Ron had written a song to me entitled, “I Could Use A Smile.” He said he always remembered my smile. I will always remember his! Ron will be missed by all of us but his memory will live on in our hearts. Tonight when we look up in the evening sky there is a new star shining down on us. ~ Wynne

2013 Galaxy of Stars Mega Star Justin Kane had an exciting week in Nashville September 30th -October 7th. I am so excited that Justin could make it to Nashville, and I could work with him. We thank everyone who made this possible. Justin had an exciting week starting with a video shoot for "Cowgirl Crazy" at SIR in Nashville featuring an all star Nashville band, professional dancers choreographed by master choreographer Daniel Thomas and line dancers choreographed by Skyla Spencer from the Wildhorse in Nashville. Justin performed his 2014 single, “American Strong” for a special event for Lilly Rose Publishing that evening. The week continued at a fast pace with Justin recording four new songs. It's a big weekend for past Galaxy of Starts Finalists and Coyote Country Music Showdown Champions Phalen & Aubrey. Last night they opend for McCook National Banks "Hot Summer Nights" concert in the park featuring the Dylan Bloom Band. Then Saturday, July 29, 2017, the duo will open for the country band Ricochet at the Dundy County Fair. Monday (July 31st) they will be performing as a part of the Galaxy of Stars Spectacular during the Buffalo County Fair. For this run of entertainment they have added some percussion thru the talents of Andrew Stevens.

Congratulations, Melissa! Auditions were recently held for baton twirlers to be a part of a cast for the LUMA Theater production: "Art in Darkness." Melissa auditioned and was offered a spot! Opening in South Lake Tahoe July 13th LUMA: Art in Darkness has a new cast with a unique skill set never seen in our twenty years of touring. Their next production will open in South Lake Tahoe July 13th at the Mont Bleu Resort, will have new content, scripts, production design, lighting, innovative approaches and will be a major shift in the show's sophistication, visual appeal and technical expertise. Congratulations to Janelle Grace, a past contestant in the Galaxy of Stars Talent Search, on the release of her 10 song original CD which also includes a DVD. The project is entitled, "The Journey of Janelle Grace."
From Nebraska native to Southern Belle, Janelle Grace was born and raised around Country music and has been performing since second grade. Her music is Country up-tempo with a twist of bluegrass style based on her journey, "The Journey of Janelle Grace," in Nashville as an aspiring artist. This is a true story album based on the experiences Janelle encountered after moving to Nashville TN. It has been a pleasure working with Janelle from the concept of this album to recording in the studio, directing and filming her video and now coordinating her CD Release!
