Official 2018 Galaxy of Stars® Preliminary Talent Search Two Nights August 7th & 8th - 7:00 PM Free Entry $300 in cash prizes plus $100.00 to top Lancaster 4-H/FFA contestant. Three Winners from each night will qualify to advance to the Galaxy of Stars® Talent Search Semi-Finals at the Nebraska State Fair on Saturday, September 1st, to compete on the Bristol Windows Stage for over $9,000.00 in Prizes, Cash & Trophies. Galaxy of Stars® "Battle of the Bands" One Night August 9th - 7:00 PM Galaxy of Stars® "Battle of the Bands" held only at the Lancaster County Carnival & Talent Festival. Winner of the "Battle of Bands" is awarded a $4,000.00 Nashville Recording Package. Additionally, the winning band will have the opportunity to showcase on the Bristol Windows Stage at the Galaxy of Stars® Talent Search during the Finals at the Nebraska State Fair Sunday, September 2nd.
